Let's make Alabama better, together.
Our Mission
Quality improvement and reproductive health equity within the state of Alabama.
All facets of reproductive care - from abortion to birth to postpartum, and beyond - are vital to a healthy, well-balanced community. We seek to increase access to reproductive health care, improve the quality of care, and reduce health disparities in Alabama.
We are proud to be a member of the National Network of Abortion Funds (NNAF).
Current Projects
ABORTION DOULA INITIATIVE
MAMA CIRCLE HUNTSVILLE
People having abortions deserve support.
We make trained, professional abortion doulas available to pregnant people receiving care at Alabama Women's Center.
We believe that every family deserves to feel encouraged and confident as they welcome a new life into the world. Mama Circle serves as a safe space to connect with other families, to learn, and to grow.
BIRTH WORKER GROWTH SPACE
BREAST PUMP PROJECT
This space is a safe place for Alabama birth workers to come in order to ask hard questions, be challenged by difficult issues, learn new things, and grow in their practice.
Our community lending library of closed system breast pumps increases access for underresourced families in north Alabama.
