North Alabama Breast Pump Project provides direct access to free closed-system breast pumps and breast pump accessories to lactating families of North Alabama and surrounding areas. As of July of 2024, pumps will be distributed through North Alabama Community Care. We do not accept direct requests.

Free Rides

ACC provides free rides using a Lyft for reproductive care related appointments in the Madison County area. Reproductive care includes prenatal and postpartum appointments, mental health appointments, parenting and support groups or classes, and more. Click the link to lear more about the program or to book a ride.

Dear Black Mama Peer Support Group

Want to mingle with some Black mom gworls? Dear Black Mama is a social community that meets monthly to foster connection for black and brown mothers in Huntsville. We share resources for families, mentorship opportunities, and opportunities for community outreach. Registration is not required. Contact Makia Newsome, founder and facilitator, with questions about the group.
